Jakki Cunningham – SLL founder and President
With a French mother and an English journalist father, Jakki is bringing together the two countries beloved of her parents in the form of an Anglo-French crusade.
As the mother of a daughter who is hard of hearing and with a nephew who has Down’s syndrome, balanced due to riding, she draws her force and motivation for the White Horses projects from her own experience of life.
The journeys of 2005, and 2008 (awarded the EPONA Trophy for Initiative in 2009), have lead to a new challenge for 2012.
Thanks to the generosity and support of the partners and sponsors, horses and young people will once again be united in 2012 in aid of children and adults with disabilities.
Help and financial support is still needed to ensure this new initiative can happen.
