These beautiful pair of Franc Comptois horses, Rita and Séduiante, will be pulling the supply wagon for the 2012 Caravan of Hope. The Comtois horse is a draft horse that originated in the Jura Mountains on the border between France and Switzerland. They are generally chestnut with flaxen manes and tails, but they can also be bay.

Séduisante has been donated to IME PLUMELEC Adapei « Les Papillons Blancs », Les Bruyeres, Route de Tredion, 56420 Plumelec, where she joins Dourno and Mogador, the two Camargues donated by SLL in projects 2005 and 2008.

News June 2013:

“Séduisante seems to be doing very well in the IME. Her new life with her five pals is punctuated by lot of time in the field, time in harness and short hacks with his fellows. The children of the institution really like and they are often found two at once at her head.”
